I've managed to hear an exclusive 2 minute promo of former 98 Degrees frontman, Nick Lachey's solo debut single.
Click here to listen. It's called 'Shut Up' and it ain't that bad actually. Quite refreshing. It was co-wrriten and produced by the Matrix Crew whose work credits include Avril Lavigne. Nick also plans to having a R&B ballad he wrote for his pop chanteuse, Jessica Simpson make the final cut for his debut album. Called 'Edge Of Eternity', he said "I love this track because i wrote it with her in my mind. She loves it too. I want this to be found on my LP." There were rumours going around for some time that seem to imply that 98 Degrees, known for their many hits like 'Invisible Man' and 'Give Me Just One Night', have split up.
With hopes to quash those rumours, according to their official website, 98 Degrees, made up of brothers Drew and Nick Lachey, Jeff Timmons and Justin Jeffre, are still very much together as a band and are just merely taking a break. They plan to release 'The Collection CD' tentatively sometime in May, filled with their old hits dating back to the past 5 years and a brand new single entitled 'Why' out on the 12th of March.
